Paula Kully
Acting PresidentPaula Kully has been the Executive Assistant at the Oak Bay Police Department since June of 2021. She has worked in local government administration for over 20 years and gained skills in communications, marketing, event planning, strategic planning, and budget development. Paula holds a certificate in Local Government Administration from Capilano University and a degree in Marketing and Communications from BCIT.
Paula is excited to be a part of BCLEAP and is focused on elevating and highlighting the indispensable role that administrative professionals (the majority of which are women), play in both the public and private sector.

Leeanne Pengelly
TreasurerLeeanne Pengelly is the current Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief Constables at the Abbotsford Police Department. With 33 years of experience in an administrative/support role, she has become adept at managing change with confidence. The most rewarding aspect of this career for Leeanne has been the opportunity, over the years, to build strong relationships with colleagues and peers at all levels and foster collaborative and supportive work cultures.
Outside of regular work, Leeanne is committed to continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends, and enhancing her skills as an executive assistant. She is dedicated to delivering excellence in all aspects of her role and looks forward to the opportunity to contribute her expertise to BCLEAP as part of their Executive Board.

Magda Anderson
Corporate OfficerMagda Anderson is currently the Executive Assistant to Chief Superintendent David Teboul within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s Federal Policing division. She has been with the RCMP for five years and in her role for the past three years.
Magda brings a wealth of experience in managing high-stakes responsibilities. Her role requires quick thinking and adaptability to evolving circumstances and requirements. Specializing in organizational efficiency, she ensures smooth coordination of tasks, manages calendars effectively, and liaises seamlessly with external agencies. In the dynamic field of federal policing, Magda is dedicated to managing stakeholders and building collaborative relationships. With a professional tenure marked by precision, she navigates the intricate landscape of law enforcement administrative duties with diligence and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Sheryl-Lynne Macdonald
Vice-President & Communications OfficerSheryl-Lynne Macdonald is the Executive Assistant to Assistant Commissioner John Brewer, Criminal Operations Officer Core Policing for the BC RCMP. Sheryl-Lynne has been with the BC RCMP for 18 years and in her role for the past seven years.
She has a certificate in Criminology and continues to strive and collaborate on professional development opportunities that enhance her organizational skills in a fast-paced policing environment.
Sheryl-Lynne enjoys working with her RCMP team (family) and supporting peers. She is extremely proud to be part of the inaugural BCLEAP executive team with an outstanding group of talented women.
